Pie, green tomato pickles, and a delicious cheese burger. Fries leave a little bit to be desired, but otherwise a good place to eat.

South Side Grill is a locally owned restaurant that has the best pies around Batesville. Their food is very good too. They have a great lunch buffet with great deserts. You can’t wrong with anything on their menu. They have some short hours through the week so make sure you check their hours.

Had a dear friend buy my wife and I an all u could eat CRAB leg dinner when they brought one cluster of legs it was burnt and we sent back service was great and the owner covered are meal but very disappointed won't b going back WHO DATS BETTER GRUB CHEAPER PRICES

Very good service and food! We had the seafood buffet, and everything was tasty. Shrimp, catfish, ribs, salad bar, crawdads, sides and dessert were the options available on the all-you-can-eat seafood bar. The seafood bar is available from 3:30 until 8:00 PM on Friday's, and is $13.99. Next trip, we're gonna try their steaks, from the menu.

Great food n service

Bland tasteless catfish, hushpuppies & tater babies. Cold ribs. Over all a bad experience & WAY overpriced !! We had a very attentive waitress though.

My chicken strips we're delicious, but one was so undercooked that I had to toss it. Besides that everything was great!

Food was very good, buffet is not really that big in my opinion and why I gave it a 4 instead of a five. They fish was amazing, chicken was great and Barbie Q was very good. I really liked the hush puppies and baked beans. It's a grill, so definitely look at the menu before ordering, if coming in after 1:00 for lunch.

First visit to Southside Grill. Malinda and I both enjoyed the food. Everything was fresh and buffet was laid out well. Service was great. Thank you we will be back.

Great stop. Wonderful sweet tea and lemonade. Had fish plate and Reuben sandwich. Would order again. Very good potato salad.

Our first time here, had the seafood buffet. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the crawfish were simply terrible. I'm thinking this is just inexperience with that particular item because EVERYTHING else was absolutely delicious! On top of that, the girls waiting tables were the best! Smart, attentive, friendly and fast. Definitely a hidden jewel that deserves attention. We'll be back again and again for sure! P.S. Save room for dessert. Just trust me on this ;)

Wanted the unlimited crab legs that the menu states in BOLD are included with the buffet on Friday. I was informed that crab was not included on the seafood buffet, (catfish, crawdads, and shrimp is not a seafood buffet, as only one even comes from salt water.) And if I wanted to add the crab it would be an additional 55$. Yes. For crab an additional FIFTY-FIVE DOLLARS!!! Are you people kidding!? The entire menu is essentially Fred's fish house but with 3 dollars added on. Check out the pics of their menu and how bogus they are. I had to ask to see a menu for crab so I could get a picture of this bull. Will not be back.

Food was awesome! I had pork sandwich and loaded potato salad. Oh my, the potato salad was amazing! Service was good until 2:01. Apparently they close at 2pm and the service and freindliness absolutely stops at 2pm. I would have ordered a piece of pie, but no one returned to the table. And when I paid, no thank you or have a good day.
